Last year when my Spit was in bits, I was in the middle of a uni course, and work was its usual masochistic self I asked for help. Today, whilst tonking down the A52 at 90+ in total control of my Spit and bowls, I recalled how James Carruthers had responded to my plea and pointed me in the direction of his mighty website where I heard the sound of a Spit at full chat. This gave me the vision I needed. I was going to buy an MX5 but bollox to that, my Spit will do nicely. Thankyou Triumph and thankyou James.

Of course it was kilometres, I'm all metric now you know Its a bugger trying to find 5th gear in a 1500 spit, I know why you have to lift to find reverse now. Must get me a gearknob with an overdrive switch in it!
James, the sound clip was of your Mk3 driving under a bridge as I recall.
