As I was driving to work in my Bond (yes I know this is the Spitfire Board - but more people seem to read this) I noticed a strange damp sensation around my ankles. A quick look revealed that they were being soaked with engine oil. Drove home, changed car and trousers and set off for work again. Investigated the cause last night - the plastic pipe from the oil pressure gauge had split.

Does anyone know a) where I can buy a replacement pipe and b) how you soften / stretch the pipe sufficiently to go over the unions ?

And yes I know I said I was very fond of my Bond, but if it plays another sly little trick like this I might just start going off her...
