General Spitfire messages

Hi,
A few days ago I found a link to someone's site that had some old Spitfire adverts, but the steam powered computer that I have at work wouldn't play them.
When I got home I couldn't find the link at all and I've been looking for about three days now! Anybody out there know where they went...?
Also, Angelina is about to come out of hibernation. What type of things are worth checking over before I drive off down the road like a clown car...
Cheers,
Ben

These and a few other Triumph related ones are also on my website.

Cheers, for both replies, although now the sun's gone in again for another 364 days I may not bother getting Angelina ready...
On a (completely irrelevant) different topic - Dom Weaver - I think we live on the same estate. I'm keeping my eyes open for your GT6 but no
luck so far!

How bizarre is that! I was just thinking about your Spitfire a couple of days ago!
Yeah, we moved in at the end of November. I used the GT6 right up til Christmas, but have only had it out once this year - the car that
is...
We live on the South West side of the estate - near the golf course. You said your car was in the garage last year, is it back on the road
yet?

I took her out of the garage last night to see if she would still work. She started ok and then the clutch wouldn't engage. I'll just
get my hammer out and do a little bit of 'adjusting' ...

Hi Ben, I asked a similar question a few weeks ago entitled 'Dormant Spitfire'. Here's the thread:
http://www.tssc.org.uk/messageboard.asp?board=spit...
I followed most of the advice on there and have encountered no problems. However a 'proper' mechanic is looking at my Spit next Monday and also she
will have her first MOT for 18 months, so fingers crossed!
Cheers
John
