Just been out for an evening blast in sabrina, (76 Spit) when (dare I say it?) a tartan red MGBGT pulled out behind me, we had great fun, and I showed it a
clean pair of heals! It made my day, he was going for it too, there was a lot of respect between us though when we pulled up at the lights to go our
separate ways, it brought a big grin to my face, and reminded me what driving a classic is all about.
Just thought I'd share that with you all!
Dean.

Yup, its those rare occasions of meeting other classic drivers on the roads that make it for me... even if it is a emmm geeee....
Today I was driving home after doing a bit of fettling with my car... you know... usual things like installing anti squeal shims because the DPO hadn't
Anyway... driving home I had a chance encounter with a Dolly 1500TC in Paegent Blue... both our faces lit up as we saw each other... waved like mad for
a bit then the moment was gone... nice!

I daily drive my GT6 MK1 to work and home, and regularly see 2 MG Midgets, Reliant Scimitar SE6, and a couple of MGBs. I Occaionally see a Citreon
(don't know what type).
But was gutted when I had to come to work in my tow van to get it MOTd and sat behind a lovely MK1 GT6 in a traffic queue - Aaaaagh!

is that 'cos they're so busy gripping their steering wheels at 10 to 3 with both hands?

Morris Garages owners always look confused.
Thats because they thought they had bought a sports car.

P.S.
I need to be carefull as John Davies might think I am being abusive to Morris Garages owners and have me thrown off the message board !!
