Not really what it is intended for, but I started my rebuild some 19 years ago!!!!!!
yep 19 years ago, only done the tub,
anyway lost garage and DVLA at the time was not letting me have my original number plate etc etc,
car has stood outdoors under raps for all this time,
point is I used a roofing paint over the celilouse (underbody, floorpans etc) to act as a water sealer, was going to underseal over this,
for no good reason really,
well this roofing paint has stood the test of time, bloody bloody briliant,
it is a liquide rubber paint you brush on, it dries like rubber, you can build it up if you wish, it is also soft so stones will just
bounce off,
is has not blisterd, nor peeled, and it look like it did when I first put it on 19 years ago,
will be putting it on my chassis when I finnish the engine mod, (see pic)
I have over the years lernt much about paint, as I and my brother have done many car relaited things, even if my spelling makes you think
otherwise (was born dyslexic) I have seen and used much gear, read all the claims etc etc, well this gear in my oppinion is mental!!!
it will repel water, repel stones, can be used as a gap sealer as I have also done on the floor pans, you can even paint over it, but it
did discolour the topcoat (white)
if you think what a roof takes as to heat, cold expaintion etc etc,
well I like the stuff anyway,
you can always try it for your self on a small peace of metal and test is,
it is called Isoflex, it is still made today and I would hope it is still made the same way,
whats more I have nothing to do with the company, so have no intrest in promoting them, only helping fellow triumph owner.
