  Hi Andrew,
  
  I'm currently rebuilding my dash on my mk2 GT6 so know that the speedo plus tacho have orange pointers, whilst all the other gauges have black pointers. However, I'm never too sure of the pedigree of my car so perhaps someone else should confirm this.

    All the gauges on my dash have white pointers, including the oil pressure gauge. I have no idea how many of these gauges are original equipment though - they were all fitted before I bought the car.
    
    
    
    Not my dash, but the same gauges (although mine has an oil pressure gauge to the right of the tacho).

      that would be my dash, pretty, isn't it? it's off a '76 1500, before that was fitted the original dash was in place and i believe at least the speedo is original (the odometer matches the milage for the MOT's i have).
      
      There are a few colour pics in 'triumph spitfire and GT6' by James Taylor, all the spits have white pointers, (including a '77 1500) the only GT6 you can see has orange ones.
