Rev counter

I have a MkIV Spitfire with a 1500 fitted. The engine had the cable operated rev counter fitted. I have changed the distributor to the proper Lucas one and got an electric rev counter. Can anyone tell me how it needs to be wired up. It has two terminals one spade and one post terminal on the back.

Hello,

The body of the rev counter (earth -) connects to the other black earth leads from the other guages. As for the 2 terminals, one is +12volts, the other comes from the negative off your coil.
