I've just had the interior out of my Spit MkIV while a new floor has gone in, and now I've come to refit the transmission tunnel cover, I've found that at
some point, a bit of metal at the end of my heat distribution cable has snapped - and I don't know where from! the slider has never worked (a 'to do' job),
so know I know why! I think it is still attached at one end to the distribution lever, so it's wherever it goes to from there. The Haynes and Intereurope
are no use at all for this - anybody know where it goes to and what route it took to get there?

If you need a complete new cable & heater end connectors I've got a second hand one - if you pay the P&P you can have it - if this helps ?
