Placing door mirrors

Has any kind soul got photo's and/or measurements of where to place a mirror on a Spitfire 1500 door?
I replaced the door skins, but didn't think to take the measurements off the original before scrapping the panel.

Ian,

Haven't seen any dimensions, however looking at pictures in both Graham Robson's and John Tomason's books at original Spit 1500 pictures it seems that the front of the mirror support thingy should be just about level with the bottom of the rain gutter at the back of the windscreen frame.

What I do know (from experience I'm araid!) is if that you fit mirrors to a GT6 in the position that is standard on a Spitfire the quarterlight frame obscures the drivers vision of the mirror!
