Section : Bonnet

I have noticed on my MK3 bonnet that it has the same type side and indicator light fittings as my MK2 did, (round glass with chrome bezzel) but the only
problem is that inbetween the indicator and side light is a section cut out? I know the MK3's were introduced with a complete indicator and side light
cluster, surely they didnt make 2 types for the mk3?
Is this an early mk3 bonnet? and if so what would be the original indicator and side light fixings?
Any help would be very appreciated!
Regards,

Hi, they did use the mk2 spit bonnets on the mk3 spit with a square adapter that sit over the round indicator and park light cut outs to fit the
square indicator/park lights unit on top of the adapter. Maybe it's one of those you have?
Triumph trying to use up their spare mk2 spit bonnets on mk3 spits - pure genius.......

Does anybody have any pictures of what kind of lenses or have any lying around going spare for what I require to properly suit this bonnet?
otherwise the body shop has a bit more unnecessary filling work to plug the gap to use my mk2 lenses.
Cheers in advance,

Best option as you suggested is to get a bit of metal filled in to use your round lights.
the adapters are rare and unsightly in my opinion.
Also, I have a mk2 gt6 bonnet that I wanted to change the square lights to round ones, I bought some after market replacement panels,
unfortunately they were'nt original pressings and looked like they were hand finished - not a great finish!
so don't be tempted to get complete replacement panels unless they are original pressings, do as you suggested and just get that gap filled
in,
hope that helps,
Cheers Vin
