Where Can I Buy a pair of 1500 Spit Seat Belts with Sensors?

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of Spitfire 1500 sealt belts with the sensor?

I've tried various suppliers with no luck.

If anyone knows of a supplier which has these then please tell. Or if you have a pair collecting dust somewhere and wish to sell please let me know?

When I bought my (non sensor) inertia belts from TD Fitchetts, I think they had sensor ones in stock. I don't have their advert or catalogue to hand - maybe somebody else could confirm?

Paul, I bought some sensor belts from James Paddock 5 years ago. I checked their website -

and they are still listed under JPR 929 PS at Â£65+vat

  I just called them, but similar story to TD Fidchett. They used to have them but haven't be able to re-stock for about 12 months now.

    I got fed up of trying to get hold of these last year, but it annoyed me I had that light on the dashboard which would never work, so I had an idea.
    
    My modern car has a chime and a light to tell me to put my seatbelt on, but goes off after 6 seconds whether I put it on or not, so why not do this with my Spitfire, I though.
    
    I made up a simple box of electronics from Maplin, which turned the warning light on when I turned the ignition on, or when a passenger got in and triggered the pressure switch. Then switches it off after about 10 to 15 seconds.
    
    I was happy with that, if you are interested in this I can try to find out what bits I bought etc?
