Radio Aerial fitting

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone out there has already fitted an electric radio aerial into their spit.
If it's you could you tell me where abouts you placed it and also if possible the make and type of aerial and supplier.

I have one (from Halfords), fitted in the rear wing with the wiring routed over the wing, under the carpets and up behind the H-frame. The body of the arial fits OK into the gap between the wing and the inner wing support panel that forms the wall of the boot.

I have a Spit 1500, may be different on Mk1,2,3.
