When I started looking at the products on the market to rust prevent my spitfire, I happened across
http://www.bilthamber.com. I don't have anything to do with the company and haven't had any freebees etc.
I didn't want to use Waxoil, The problem is as time goes by it dries out and cracks... the water seeps in front of it and gets held against the
metal.
Diditrol always stays slightly sticky and helps to prevent that, but I thought I would try Bilthammers product as the reviews were good and they were
slightly cheaper
I bought 4-5 cans of there Dynax s50 to spray the sills etc.
All I can say is so far very good results. I sprayed a sheet of old mild steel and put it outside in a damp spot about 4-5 months ago. The half sprayed
is still shiny underneath the Dynax, and I scratched the surface with a nail a few times over the months and again, it does seem to have repaired its
self and sealed the scratches.
I will be spraying the under side of the car as well (even though it's been acid etched and painted) to see how it stands up to the rigors of day to
day driving.
I hope it helps... only time will tell.
Check out the comparison, I know that its easy to fake but, I must say it seem to tally with my experience so far.
