Hi,
New to the club and new to classic cars. I've fitted a newtronic (lumenition?) electronic ignition kit to my 1500 spit. I was wondering if anyone knew if
the Aldon flame thrower coil could be used with the newtronic ignition?
Thanks

Joe,
I know you can use the standard Flamethrower with standard points - however you can't use the FlamethrowerII with them.
So yes, I believe you can.

You can use any coil you want as long as you wire it in properly. I use a Gold Sports coil with mine.
I wouldn't recomend a 6v coil though as you will quickly burn it out and I'd remove the ballast resistor too.
