Anything and everything Spitfire.

I am following the electronic ignition advice with interest as I am thinking about fitting the club version. Am I right in thinking it will solve the slight pinking I noticed the other day and the timing will be bang on forever?

Also could anyone tell what sort of diff would be stamped - STANPART V2734 and should one be on a Spitfire?
