My '79 !500 Spitfire is of Californian ancestry and is fitted with a water pump part : GWP205.
I noticed in the Rimmer parts catalogue, one of the few which separatley identify the US version peculiarities, that the late UK 1500 Spitfire water pumps
have a different part (UKC774)/specification. The US version uses a separate electrically driven cooling fan assy..
Is anyone aware of any difference between these two items with regards to pulley size/configuration or impeller blades/diam. or are they interchangeable?

I can't imagine that they're not interchangeable, you wouldn't fit fan blades if you had an electric radiator fan I guess. I'd run with a GWP200 but
from Mick Dolphin and at £17.50 he's about half the price of Rimmers!
