Driving on the motorway at a steady 60-70 and the temperature gauge is rising.
I&8217;ve replaced the thermostat, checked for air locks, is their any thing else any one can think of before I replace the water pump?
Are there any external checks you can do to check the condition of the water pump?
Thanks
Jon

It's quite easy to remove the water pump to see if the impeller is broken. You'll need to drain some coolant and you'll need a new gasket.
