Any one following the message board will notice that i am having loads of issues with my water pump. I am hoping this will be my last issue with it
The issue--
the diameter of the water pump I have taken off is larger than the one i have been sent by trgb. I am slightly worried as looking at the pictures the mark
1, 2 and 3 spits have this smaller size water pump and the mark 4 the larger. I have put the pump in place once so I am sure it fits. so is this the
correct pump? if it is does this smaller size make any difference apart from making the fan and water pump spin faster? Also if it is the Wong pump i.e.
the mark 1,2 or 3 does it matter??
Thanks in advance

Good choice with TRGB, i honestly cant say enough good things about them (apart from that they're not the cheapest around)
If it's a part they've sent you, give them a call, they'll be able to say for sure if it's the right part or not. I'd say that it sounds like the Mk4
had 2 different size pumps over the duration of it's manufacture, perhaps the earlier ones had the smaller pump, and later ones had the larger pumps
along with the 1500's.
Just give them a quick call.

They probably wont, and if you explain the urgency, they'll probably even send it out with a courier.

with a smaller pulley than the one i broke.
will i have to get a new one or just get a different sized fan belt.
i think that my car has the 1500 engine installed.

Just a thumbs up for TRGB really. They are my 'local' Triumph specialist and have always found them helpful and have posted on stuff
that was not in stock when I have gone there in person.
Usual stuff about not being connected blah blah blah.
