Any idea on the thread size for the temperature transmitter on a Mk1 Spit?
Am looking at fitting a capillary temp guage, and they seem to have different fittings

Hi Martin
From some work on my 1500 Spit with the vacuum guage, I believe you'll find the thread to be
BSP ( British Standard Pipe ).
At the time I lived in High Wycombe and there was a good local Air fitting ( compressor ) supplier who were able to supply the correct fittings
although I needed a reducer to make the whole thing work.
My suggestion would be to take the bits you need to join to a good Air fittings supplier and they should be able to assist
