What is the recommended way to store my softtop?

I have a 1500 Spit with a new hood, should it be stored up for long periods
or is it better folded down?

I'm thinking up so that it is nice and tort, rather than leave it folded for
3 months and find a crease in my back window.

Any suggestions? thanks
