Hi there,
Finally got round to having a new hood fitted and replacing the original. Just wondered what people recommended to protect the hood from the elements. Am I
ok with just a suede protector that used on shoes or is there something better?
Kind regards
Matthew

Hi Mathew,
Sounds like you've fitted a "posh one" - I've nearly fitted (50%) a pvc basic jobbie ! As a matter of interest what contact glue did you use & did
re-rivetting on the channel bar give you any probs ?
Sorry I cannot help on the mohair treatment - but I wonder if proofing that you use on equestrian outdoor stuff would work ?
Regards & Seasons Greeting
Jeremy
