I know this is going nto sound daft but where the last popper fits onto the B Post there is a flap, what is this for and where if anywhere do you tuck it???

I have had my car for a while with a PVC hood and it has never bothered me but i have just put on a Mohair Hood and now I suddenly care!!

Any answers appreciated even silly ones

If it is the little flap that is on the hood I think it is supposed to go down the door gap so it gets trapped between the door and the sealing rubber, should stop the vertical edge of the hood getting sucked by airflow out as speed increases and pulling off the poppers.
