I am having to move refurbishment of my seats up the list of priorities cos I am getting a right pain in the leg from driving slumped to one side where the
foam has finally gone.
Problem is car has been messed about a lot and only history I have suggests seats are not MK4 Spit but GT6.
They are recliners with a headrest in a black vinyl.
Have tried studying pictures of seats in catalogues/manuals etc but am still not sure what type they are. Is there an easy (fool proof!) way of identifying
what I've got before ordering the bits and then finding they don't fit?
Thanks,
Al

Easiest way is post a picture!
Late Mk4 spits did have recliners with headrests so they may be the right type.

You support my thoughts!
Having studied other pictures and mine appear same as late MKIV/1500 low back recliner seats, engine is now a 1500 so possibly seats are from same
stage in her history meaning the second hand verbal history I have may be wrong.
....Although my logic doesn't actually work there 'cos its a 1500 Dolomite engine not a Spit's... I guess it might get boring if any of the jobs
were easy!!
