Hi all.... looking for some advice?!
I've got a nice white spit 1500 in the process of a rolling restoration. I've been looking at a set of minilites for it and I was wondering what people
thought of putting the black minilites on a white spit. Is it in keeping with it, or do you think the better choice is to go for the standard silver
one?

Black - can't beat the contract between body and wheel.

I would think silver Minilites or black Revolutions look good & 'period'. Maybe I'm too traditional!

I've always liked the black revolution wheels on Spits.
Also the wheel centres for the steel wheels came in silver, black and silver and black, so there is some president for a bit of black on the
wheels.
Black is a little more controversial...the knee jerk classic car mentality is to make it as shiny and silver as possible, I too am guilty of
that.
If you like it go for it...personally i don't think you can beat wolfrace slotmags...but that's what I've got so I'm biased

Wires on a Mk 1/2/3 yes but not on a Mk IV/1500 to my eye.
