Yet another Wheel size question

I know there's loads of posts of this topic, but im stupid and still cant get my head round this problem.

Could someone just please give me a yes or no answere to this.

Would these wheels and tyres fit my late spit 1500? which is totally unmodified in the wheel arch/ride height department.

I'm under the impression 195's are way too wide, and on 15" wheels i dont stand a chance, but they are advertised as to fit a spit.

Hi Chris

I've been running 185x70x13 on ex GT6 5.5J steel rims for some years now

They restrict the turning circle a little, ie rub on the chassis and they all rubbed on the inner arches until,

1 - 5000 to 7000 miles of use

2 - I recently changed broken rear spring

IMHO, 175x60x13's would have been better choice, not sure on availability ?

  I know they dont come with hubs, but i've already got a set of hubs and spinners, just desparate for the wheels now and dont want to pay the full whack. The guy has offered these wheels to me for &163;180, for 5 that's an absolute bargain, but as said, they wont fit properly

    I run 175/60/13 on my 1500 the cars sits on lowering springs, they use to rub a lot, so I made up some shims to sit on the steering rack to reduce the lock. They now slightly rub on full lock.

    I just keep off full lock, which is better for the trunnions as well, particually at slow U-turn speeds or just use the handbrake a lot more

      those wheels were 15 in anyway...way too big, you'dhave to fit ultra low profile tyres, whcih would look a tad perculiar...

I would say that these wheels a are too large overall diameter would be 634mm rather than 584mm and the width would also be a problem as previously stated. Doesn't seem to come with hubs either?
