Hi has any one got any ideas as to why one of my carbs keep overflowing, i have taken the float chamber top of and checked the gap, and made sure the float
didnt have a hole in...What else could it be?
Any help much appreciated!

did you unscrew the needle valve body out of the top and clean inside and out, could be some debris being pumped into the hole upsetting the needle, SU
can flood due to engine vibrations ,is idle stable,not to slow etc.. just some thoughts Peter

Ah no i didnt unscrew the needle valve body out, an idle is very lumpy at the minute!.
I shall sort the idle out then if the problem continues i shall try that!, thanks for the help.

guess from what you say its the lumpy idle giving the leakage,, apart from mixture and idle speed
timming errors and tight valve clearances can aggrevate idle shake worth a try Peter
