Help!
I've fitted K&N's and a tubular exhaust manifold with club sports systems to a MK3 spitfire, I've kept the standard HS2 carbs, can anyone advise the
correct needle selection. I currently have the standard BO neddles and the car lacks any power above 3,500rpm!!
Any advise, much appreciated
Mark

From the Triumph Tune catalogue for their Plus kit A which is basically what you have got, they state that H6 needles are required. I hope this helps.

Hi Mark
I had the same problem with my MKIV after i had fitted k&n's and a stainless steel exhaust and manifold, to solve the problem i fitted AQQ
needles and yellow springs in my carbs and now it runs a treat pulling all the way round, i got the bits from burlem fuel systems on the internet
(www.burlen.co.uk).
Hope this helps
Stuart
