Currently having a single carb setup on my MkIV, I don't have an awful lot to go on as reference for the various fuel/coolant hoses, cable attachments etc,
so I'm trying to work out everything I need to convert to twin HS4s from various catalogues and manuals.
The bit on the right of the picture below where the cable goes into the mounting bracket is presumably some sort of screw adjuster - what exactly does it
do, what does it adjust, and how does it fit to the cable? Is it mainly just for holding the outer cable in place?
The bit on the left which attaches to the end of the inner cable - This doesn't seem to appear in any of the catalogues... does it come as part of the
cable, or as part of the mounting bracket?
There also appears to be a lower throttle return spring, with a few different springs/mounting brackets listed - different parts for 1300/1500/waxstats?
Where abouts would the lower end mount? I guess it doesn't really matter massively, provided it's secure and under the right sort of tension.
Cheers

The part on the right just adjusts slack in the cable - nothing to worry about... it is just for the outer part of the cable.
The part on the left is part of the mounting bracket I believe...
The springs attach to the manifold - though my 1500 never had them.
