  I am sorry I can't be too much help but to say there are two different types of needles for different carbs and they are not interchangeable.

  Alan,
  BO needles are fixed. AAT needles are sprung. They are not interchangeable. The fixed needles you require should be H6 or maybe AN which run slightly leaner. These are as recommended by Moss but I'm happy to supply you with any profile dimentions if you want to plough your own furrow. This can however prove expensive!
