I've finally bought my exhaust system, and am sold on the benefits of the exhaust wrap. From what I have seen, the norm is to wrap the manifold right down to the join of the 2 to 1 pipe, is that correct? Also can anyone recommend which wrap to get?. Money is the main factor, but if one's better value for what it is then all the better. Rimmer's wrap seems very expensive, and after finding www.agriemach.com i'm totally confused, there's quite a few. Can people recommend anything? I want to get it wrapped before it goes on the car.

Think about extending the wrap down the pipe past the gearbox tunnel.

  Is your manifold stainless or mild steel? I recall an item in the Courier last year advising against exhaust wrap (on mild steel I think) as over time the heat causes the metal to go brittle and break up. Might be worth looking that article up (Tony Lindsey-Dean wrote it I think)
