What Alternator?

What model alternator is fitted to a 1500 Spitfire? I ask because I need to get a new regulator as mine gave up the ghost last Wednesday. Or is it just a common regulator fitted to all Lucas alternators?

I think it is usually a 15ACR, but you can fit anything upto a 17acr, then branching out, you can fit anything upto a 120amp one from a Jag. Wiring might get a bit hot......

  They can tell you all about the ACR range of alternators and BL later upgrade replacements all of which are direct replacements.
