Guys
Bit of help if I may. This morning I put on a new one of the above on my 63 Spit4. Started her up and the ignition light is staying on. I am sure the wires
are in the right place and that its earthed properly.
Doing a bit of research, it appears I should have polarised the dynamo. Firstly, is this right? Dynamo has not been changed. Secondly, how is it done?
Cheers
Martin

Think I have identified the 'new' item is faulty. Replaced the old one and the ignition light goes out straight away.
Did the first of the tests in the manual regarding output via the WL terminal. Reached 16.5v, way above what it should be.
Any idea where I can get an adjusting tool for the control box from?
