I would like to fit an immobiliser to my 1974 1500. Can anyone recommend a suitable immobiliser? It preferably needs to be Footman James insurance approved
as I want to get my insurance down but not too expensive if possible.
Can anyone recommend a company in southern England to fit it for me?

My imobiliser (Spit 1500 1976) was fitted by previous owner in 1995,cost incl VAT £95. It is the type where a specially programmed key is
inserted and gives about 30 secs to activate the ignition. No audible with it (thank goodness). Additional new key - about 1 inch x half inch cost me
about £15.00 4 years ago. Company tel number then was 01268 534803 or 01245 476330 or 0860 570317. All Chelmsford area. Another supplier
Guard Security on 0181 5979557. Had no problems at all, and helpful advice when buying spare key.
