Hi
I have just replaced a non-standard o/s mirror with two shiney new ones (one on each side obviously !) but this has left two drill holes exposed on the
drivers side from the non standard mirror. Rather than go down the route of filling and spraying I thought about two rubber bungs/grommits would look fine
in white to match the car and be an "honest fix" rather than a bodge. Try as I might I cannot find any bungs or grommits white or other wise.
Anybody know where to get these or have a better solution ?
Cheers
Bertie

Bertie, I have just had the same problem! Mine was compounded by the bloke who has just sprayed the car not filling them cos' he thought they were more
pop rivet holes for the tonneau! Bless him..... Anyway I have filled and painted them but other options I thought of were rubber grommets, a pop rivet,
a small round piece of sticker painted the same colour, or (my favourite, this one) a nice metal Union Jack stuck over it! Oh and a cuddly toy. The
easiest way round it is to remove interior door trim, wind up window, place a tiny piece of vaselined cling film of the outside of the hole with
masking tape to hold it on and gently use filler on the inside of the door. Wait for it to set and paint.

Hi john
Thanks for the feedback, but I thought something white would blend in better although this has prooved harder than I thought.
Cheers

I see your point philip. My only problem with the fill/respray route is I can see me starting with a small area of the door and ending up doing
half the car !!!!
cheers
