has anyone tried one?
I need to replace my bootlid and as the fibrglass one is 1/4 of the price...
are they any good?

I bought mine from Rimmers a couple of years back. The "thing" fitted only after much fettling. The inner and outer panels were not even aligned. At
the time I thought it would be a good choice to beat the rust bug and save some weight, but am now looking for an original boot lid in a reasonable
condition.
