Hi,

My MKIV came without its badges on the rear flanks behind the wheelarches. I managed to find a pair in excellent condition on eBay for next to nothing, so would like to stick them on. Trouble is, I don't know where!

Am I right in saying there are supposed to be holes in the car to locate the badges? Mine must have been filled over. Anyway, the badges I've got have lost their pins.

Could anybody measure where their badges are and let me know please? It'll be a nice finishing touch for my Spit (if it ever stops being naughty and runs properly...)

Hope this helps. My car is still on it's origonal wings to the best of my knowledge.

Note: The image has been rotated so the badge is level. The badge is parallel to the swage link that runs to the very back edge of the wing, not (necessaraly) to the ground.

The distance from the rear of the badge to the 'point' of the swage line at the rear wing/rear light panel is 12 1/4".
