Just after a bit of info from you guys with experiance. Is it best to re fit the Black trim strips on the rear wing seams/ rear panel with new clips (that
hold water and rust) or do you guys sillicone them on??

Best to silicone them on then water can't get in. I saw a Mk3 Spit at Stafford three years ago in the concours and the trim strips on that were held on
with blue tak (I kid you not!) so that they could easily be removed for cleaning underneath!!!!

Hi Graham.
I think I will give the clips a miss. My finger is still sore from rubbing down the rust spots on the seamswhere the clips have been. Not quite
ready for putting the trim back on yet but had been giving it some thaught.
Thanks for the advice.
