Hi Guys n Gels,
This is my first post so wish me luck!
I've an ugly crack in my Dash-top - which extends through the padding underneath (Spit Mk III) and the facia vinyl is looking a little rough.
Having removed the parcel trays to access underneath all the bolts are badly corroded not to mension inaccessible!
How hard is it to remove the dash-top? and availability of new ones? Will disturbing the seals at the bottom of the wind-screen be a bad idea?
I'd like to remove the instruments so that I can remove and re-face the instrument facia - bearing in mind these all work at the moment - but everything's
pretty corroded back there is this a can of worms too far?
Many Thanks for any ideas / advise etc
Nick

Hi Nick..
How did the tarting-up go? I'm part way through the same process myself. The dashtop is down to 1 bolt, which is going to be hardwork to get at (above
steering column) and the only way I can see of getting the instrument panel out is by removing all the clocks first.
I notice you didn't get any replies, which doesn't bode well. Did you go ahead with the renovation anyway and if so any tips? I'm guessing it's gonna
be as hard a work as it appears but any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
Cheers
