Tarting up Dash, Vinyl & Facia

Hi Nick..
How did the tarting-up go? I'm part way through the same process myself. The dashtop is down to 1 bolt, which is going to be hardwork to get at (above steering column) and the only way I can see of getting the instrument panel out is by removing all the clocks first.
I notice you didn't get any replies, which doesn't bode well. Did you go ahead with the renovation anyway and if so any tips? I'm guessing it's gonna be as hard a work as it appears but any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

There is also another possibility of using a complete dashboard cover as offered by Rimmers, see
