Hi all,
I have just discovered a very damp patch under my pasanger seat.
Water must have come in via holes in the floor pan, i will gaffer tape up the ones i can find, but how many are there? i dont reely want to strip out all
the carpets - but will i need to do this?

Unless you have very large holes in the floor, I would be surprised if that is how the water is getting in. It's much more likely to coming in from
somewhere else (loads of recent threads on this subject) and just collecting in the footwell because that's the lowest point in the car).
I would recommend you do a bit more investigating - otherwise you can end up with no floor surprisingly quickly.

yeah I agree, it's much more likely that water will drain out of the holes than splash up through them. My leeky roof was always responsible. There
was a tag in the top corner where the roof met the windscreen and water ran down this and straight into the car.
