Hello All
Still working on my spitfire ,but "again" i have came across a problem, i cleaned up the passenger side bulkhead but i had to cut some rot out. i intend to
fit new bulkhead brackets but is there any where i can buy part of an old bulkhead so that i can replicate the contours of the small part i cut out as it
looks like a complicated piece to fabricate.

There is no end to these little problems is there?Mine was exactly the same so I replaced the whole bulkhead panel. The place I got mine from was:-
PH Sportscars
British Waterways Yard
Cavendish Bridge,
Shardlow,
Derby
(2 mile from jct24-M1)
He used to get rot free panels and bodytubs, doors etc from the USA.I don't think he advertises in the Courier any more but he was at the 2003 Stafford
show with a rust free tub.
Give him a ring ,you may be lucky and get a bulkhead.
In my humble opinion Heritage should re-manufacture them.

Hello Colin
Thanks for the reply, i will try and contact the vendor, you would think these would have been ready available or at least repair sections as these
are an important part of the car, how many cars are scrapped because of this?.

Hi Willie.
Did you get sorted witha bulkhead?
I baught a 1980 1500 Spifire with accident damage. The o/s/f wheel was pushed into the bulkhead. Also badly damaging the door 'A' post. I
baught the car as the panels are in the Moss / Rimmer etc catalogues but after stripping the car and pricing up panels they tell me they are no
longer available.
