I have recently completed a respray and would like to underseal the entire underneath of my 1500 Spit. If anyone has any tips on products and techniques
for application I would be very greatful.
Thank and Happy Motoring

Best not to use a 'hard' type underseal, as although they must have improved over the years they invariably dry out and crack. This usually leads to
the damp getting in and worse corrosion than if nothing had been applied in the first place! We have used in the past, with good results a product
called Dinitrol (number 3125), you could also try Waxoyl. If you had to ask me what protects cars the best over 30+ years, then it would have to be old
engine oil regularly applied. No one from the Green party would ever do it, but then it causes less pollution than manufacturing a new car!

Isn't this why Triumph carefully enginered the rocker cover seating on the SC engine, so that a regular supply of underseal would be applied from
the rear left corner...? Leak, be damned, it's a feature I tell you!
