Can Anybody help me? I am going to fit a new chrome strip around my spits window rubber and I understand that their is a knack to it.
Advise will be greatly welcome.

Hi Damian,
I'm guessing this is a MkIV or 1500 - the earlier models have a much easier to fit chrome finisher.
The best approach is to fit the trim to the rubber & glass before this is fitted as a unit into the surround. I'm uncerain what the factory manual
says on the subject, but this is the approach for fitting the very similar trim into an early Herald Coupe. A special tool is available for doing the
job, or it can be made following instructions in the manual.
Nothing is impossible, but fitting the trim with the screen already in the car is notoriously difficult.
Cheers,
Bill.
