Hi
My 1500 spitfire needs the trunnions replacing at the rear and whilst the parts are cheap enough I think my local garage has been a bit OTT on the labour
time for other work in the past. What do you think a reasonable time is to replace both rear trunnions ?
Cheers

Can't see this taking much more than an hour and a half per side, tops, given the fact that garages use ramps and air wrenches etc....How much did they
quote you?

Hi Mark
I haven't had a quote yet as I thought I would check here first then say "knowingly" HOW LONG ???? to the garage if they come out with an excessive
quote.
Cheers

I'd agree with Marks estimate as long as they're not seized or worn right through.

Even if they are seized or worn through, most garages have gas bottles and would be able to heat up the problem bolts etc... I'd shop
around if you are not able to do the job yourself, best price wins!
