Just recieved a new set of Koni's :-> (to try to prevent future off road excursions) and need some advice about settigs. I think I understand the 'one
set of instructions suits all nationality's' about adjusting them but what I need to know is how many turns to set them for a Spitfire 1500 with standard
springs and engine, road use only. I guess they will need to be a little stiffer than the standard shockers, but I don't really know. Anyone else's
experience and knowledge will be most welcome.
Cheers.

Phillip,
There is no 'right' setting, just one that suits you, your driving style and the set-up of your car - the spring rates, the size and nature of your
wheels and tyres etc. Even if your car is 'standard' the tyres won't be today - the suspension was designed for cross-plys, and not for adjustable
shockers!
Suggest you move the adjusting knob/screw through its full range, so you know how many clicks it is, then set it to mid-range and adjust from there.
Keep a record of adjustments and how you feel about the response.

Thanks John. I found the Koni uk site and they advised much the same so I'm setting them at 1/4 stiffer than standard and see how we go. Still it's
all academic until I get my car back.....
Many thanks.

No probs, Phillip.
Modesty forbids me saying why the Koni site says the same, but why not post the address here so I'm not inundated with requests for advice?
