Radius arm length

Hi Guys
When measured, my Swingspring bit-sa car definitely has the long half shafts fitted. My radius arms are 345mm long, end to end. I'm presuming I have the right radius arms/pivot bracket? Given that everytime I presume something on my car, I get it wrong, does anyone know the length of the early mk4 Spit radius arms and the late mk4 Spit radius arms please?

Hi bruce. you have the wrong radius arms !
Long shaft cars have longer radius arms measuring 354 ish mm. another way to identify them is the longer arms have angled bush eyes not straight like short shaft ones.

  oh and the mount brackets are angled slightly more on long shaft cars, but not much.

    Having rebuilt one long and one short driveshaft, then installing same on my cahssis, this struck a chord with me, so I've just been out to check, and yes., I've cleaned, painted and re-bushed the wrong set of tie bars. Even worse, a few months ago, I donated one of my 'spares' (the correct bars) to someone else's rebuild. On the plus side, I do still have the brackets, although I suspect that the 'correct' set are those that are still to be cleaned up. Oh well!
    
    Thanks Bruce, for asking the question, and to Karl for for answer, that's saved a lot of head-scratching in the future.
    
    Anyone got a spare to sell, or trade for the shorter one's? (first dibs to Bruce, of course)

        Just the info I need. Once I knew I ad the wrong radius arms, then it became apperrent to me I should have GT6 mk3 radius arms and brackets!!! I have now nearly found the correct GT6 mk3 radius arms and matching brackets (mine is a GT6 in a Spitfire tub).
        I spent a fun filled day today fitting red poly bushes to my car and fitting a 3/4" packing piece under the Swingspring on the diff- all single handedly!!!!!! Not bad considering I have a knackered wrist after coming off the MTB at Coed y Brenin last weekend.
