I might be displaying real ignorance here, but I'm pretty sure the spring is the same for all Mk1Vs
and 1500s.
I've fitted enough of the things and have never noticed any difference.
The camber of the rear wheels has nothing to do with the spring for any reason other than that the
spring sets the height of the car.
The wheel is attached to the driveshaft which pivots at the diff, no rotation occurs around the
trunnion or anywhere else to affect the camber.
So if you have a saggy spring and the car sits low then you will have lots of negative camber, and
if you have a fresh spring the car will sit high with maybe a touch positive, negative or none at
all.
The radius arms if too short will encourage the rear to jack up giving positive camber, if too long
the rear will be dragged down giving negative camber.
If a fresh spring is fitted and you think you have a problem with height or camber then check it is
assembled correctly in the box, check you have equal length shafts, matching radius arms, tyres are
correct.
Post a picture, it may help.

All swing springs are the same length, Canleys may list 2 different ones, but you get the
same one whatever you order (I have 1 on order for my swing sprung mk3 (short drive
shafts)) and I asked specifically last week.
Nearly all swing springs are heavy duty ones now-a-days and you need to drive a few hundred
miles with a couple of bags of spuds in the boot to settle them in.
I have my spuds ready, All I need is my spring!!!

That may explane why Moss only has one pn for the rearspring...Called TRGB and got
explained that indeed they have a short and long spring, difference the difference
between them is 1".
Contacted Moss today and sent them an e-mail but still awaiting a repley from them.
Will keep you guys updated as I get a reply from Moss...

Having read all the concerns about springs, there are actually two types of rear
springs available. Original manufactured rear swing springs and good reproduction
rear swing springs. I find the original manufactured swing springs fit better on
early cars and later reproduction ones fit better on 1500's and late swing spring
GT6's. I would suggest an original manufactured swing spring would sort his problem
out providing it has the correct drive shafts fitted.
Hope this helps,

Hi all,
Still not received a reply from Moss...Been driving the car with 70 kg in the
booth and the car sits a bit lower and the negative camber is nearly gone.
Suspect I got some heavy duty spring which needs settling!
Thanks for all the replys...
