Can anyone tell me, is it possible to squeeze in the two front diff bushes without taking off the prop shaft, IE can the nose end be pulled down enough to
slip them in, or is it strictly prop off job as per haynes?
I ask because getting the prop off on my back under axle stands is a nasty nasty job.
Thanks

Hi
I don't think it can be done i'm afraid purely because you can't get enough downwards play in the prop to diff joint to clear the studs that locate the
front ears of the diff which are unfortunately part of the chassis and not bolts that drop through the floor. Plus the exhaust may well be in the
way.
sorry mate

I suspected that might be the case, I live in hope of an easy life, but it rarely pays off !
