Hi fellow members of TSSC,

My diff is giving me grief! how do you lower the leaf spring enough to bolt it back into position onto the diff?

Bolt it to the Diff first then bolt the ends of the spring in position.

One side will be fairly easy, the other can be raised carefully with a jack.

Caution needed in order not to raise the car from it's axle stands etc.

you take it off the uprights at the wheels each side where the spring atatches then bolt to the diff then jack the uprights up to meet the spring to rebolt them.
