Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me I need to replace the diff on my Spitfire 1500 with o/d and I have been offered a reconditioned diff from a 1500 without o/d
is it compatible with my spit?

Damian, I could be wrong but I'm sure all 1500's have the 3.63 diff regardless of having o/drive or non o/drive gearboxes.
Anyone else either confirm or disagree??

All home market 1500 diffs have the same 3.63:1 ratio, US market cars had the 3.89:1 ratio of the MkIV. Worth knowing as plenty of US spec cars
found their way to the UK in late 1980s and early 1990s,
