Hi, Can anyone tell me how to renew the seals on a clutch master cylinder, I do not know how to remove the piston.
Thanks
Danny

Hi Danny,
Having taken out the circlip to release the actuating arm, make sure the bore is at least a little wet with a drop of clean fluid. Work the piston back
and fore a few times using the now detached arm. Push the piston all the way in, then release sharply with the piston aimed downwards. This will often
work, but the other method is to strike the cylinder (open bore downwards) onto a block of soft wood or similar, something that won't damage the alloy.
The momentum of the piston will throw it far enough out of the bore to grip and pull out with your fingers, but it may take a few attempts,
Cheers,
Bill.
